    FREEDOM ON THE 3RD OF JULY is the new musical the Teens Together Summer Theatre Ensemble will present at the West Pullman Park Cultural Center. I am part of the Teens Together Playwriting Ensemble and will be in the show this summer. This is my second year as a member of the Ensemble. We are working right now on the script for the musical, editing and changing it to make sure that what we are trying to say is clear.

  • Meade Presents MTW Model To National Audience

    The National Community Arts Convening and Research Project took place on the campus of the Maryland Institute College of Arts (MICA) from March 16-18, 2008. The Editorial Board of the Convening and Research Project selected Meade Palidofsky?s text, ?Creating an Institutional Model for Social Change? as one of 68 papers addressing key issues in the field.

  • Fabulous Females Fly Into November With Color My Wings

    Illinois Youth Center playwrights are busy creating scenes and songs for the new musical Color My Wings. The original play, based on the writers? personal lives, tells the story of a girl who feels like a colorless butterfly after a family member sexually abused her.

    Esther Saks and Judy Cottle are the newest members of the MTW Ambassador Ensemble, a group dedicated to building MTW?s support base and visibility in the community. Esther and Judy plan to spread the word when they host a house party for MTW on April 30.
